The medal is in brass with gilt finish and enamels. Medallion measures 36.0 mm in width. The miniature medal (badge) is likewise in gilded brass and enamels, 15.0 mm wide.

The entire set is in outstanding, excellent condition. The full-size medal and miniature in particular are perfect, with pristine enamels and bright gilt. The ribbons are clean. The box is sound and shows only minimal wear to the exterior and minor dust to the felt backing around the fitted nest for the medal.
