Aluminum, paint, lacquer; measures 32.4 mm tall, 34.2 mm wide. Raised logo of the Leningrad Mint to the reverse to the left of the base of the pin. The pin is of more complex construction, and the badge is of generally much better quality than a typical commemorative pin. In excellent condition.

Very similar in design to badges of the delegates of congresses of Georgian Komsomol, this piece was awarded to Communist Youth and Communist Party VIPs in the republic. Beside its high quality, note the absence of a retail price in raised characters on the back which is a clear indication that the badge was officially issued rather than privately purchased.
