In gilded brass, measures 29.0 mm wide. The reverse of the suspension shows late-style mint mark of the Moscow Mint (partly hidden under the pin.) In excellent, near mint condition.

In 1990, this version of the top VDNKh award replaced medal of the previous design that had remained unchanged since 1966. The new version was issued only until the collapse of the USSR at the end of the following year. This last type of VDNKh medal, especially its highest gold class, is quite scarce compared with the previous version.
