Brass gilt, silver-plating, enamels; 46.1 x 22.8 mm. Two- piece construction. Nice design with soaring Mig fighter. Reverse shows raised "LMD" logo of the Leningrad Mint.
In excellent condition. The enamel shows beautiful luster and is free of any wear noticeable to the naked eye. The gilt and silver finish are extremely well preserved with just a minimal tarnish on the reverse that is not detractive. The screw post is full length, over 9.5 mm, and includes original mint marked screw plate.
The badge comes with original case of issue in pink cardboard, complete with the inner pad for the badge. The box is in excellent condition. The paper connecting the lid to the lower part of the box is slightly loose but is still connected to the box and is no danger of separating. The box is overall sound and very clean.
