Gilded brass, enamels; 48.4 x 27.2 mm. Two-piece construction: the state emblem is a separate superimposed part. The enamels and badge overall are of excellent quality, typical of the Soviet Mint production.

In excellent condition. The gilt finish on the state emblem and enamel are essentially perfect. The reverse has light verdigris, not detractive. The screw post is full length, over 8 mm measured from its base. Includes screw plate marked "Leningrad Monetnyi Dvor" which is probably original to the badge.
