Brass, enamels, measures 53.0 mm x 26.9 mm. The badge is extremely well made: the steamship, the globe with anchor, and the red plaque with the name of the school are separate pieces superimposed on the diamond-shaped base. Beside the school abbreviation РУВТ ("RUVT") the plaque shows a 1976 date for graduating class (and the date of issue of the badge).

The badge is in excellent condition, with perfect enamel. The brass shows very attractive toning, while original fire gilt finish is still clearly visible on the ship and anchor. The screw post is 6.5 mm long, which is full length for this badge. Original screw plate is included.
