In wool bunting, measures 81" long, 15" across at the hoist. The hoist sleeve shows a 1985 date of manufacture. This type of pennant was hoisted just below the commission pennant on the masthead of the ship of the fleet, large unit or formation commander (above squadron size) while the ship was underway. Features USSR naval ensign at the base, followed by a slightly tapered red field ending in swallow-tale. This particular broad pennant is of very large size making it suitable for a larger vessel, perhaps a cruiser.

In pennant is in superb, near mint condition, completely free of stains, significant soiling, mothing or other noticeable damage.
