Naval Broad Pennant of a Senior Vessel at Anchor, dated 1990.
In wool bunting, measures 49" long, 10" across at the hoist. The hoist sleeve shows 1990 date of manufacture. This type of pennant was hoisted just below the commission pennant on the masthead of the ship of the formation or squadron commander while at anchor. Like the other types of broad pennants, it has a standard USSR naval ensign at its base, but the long part is in beige, with straight sides. This particular broad pennant was apparently for a small to medium size vessel, e.g. corvette or destroyer.
In pennant is in superb, near mint condition, completely free of stains, significant soiling, mothing or other noticeable damage.
