"The Destruction of the Austrian Army at Lwow", August 1914 lithograph.
Measures 16 ½" x 22 ¾". Marked "Lithograph by the I.D. Sytin Partnership, Moscow, 1914". The victorious General Staff situation report at the bottom claims complete destruction of the Austrian army that defended Lwow comprising three full corps and two partial corps. According to the report, the Russians had captured immense amount of military equipment including 150 field guns.
In very good to excellent condition. Minor tears to the top and bottom margins don't affect the artwork or text. This very attractive early war poster would be an excellent choice for decorating the library or living room.
