Excellent Firefighter badge, circa mid to late 1950s.

Brass, enamels; 46.1 mm x 36.7 mm. Three-piece construction: the center medallion and the nozzles & torch emblem are separate superimposed parts. "Classic Flat" version according to Airapetyan classification.

In excellent, near mint condition. The enamel is perfect: signs of wear can be found only under magnification. The gilt finish on both the obverse and reverse is likewise pristine and completely untarnished. The screw post is full length, over 11 mm. Comes with original Pobeda Factory screw plate. A truly perfect example! This version of the badge is the last one before the adoption of the far cheaper, simplified design in aluminum and paint during the 60s.
