Lenin Birth Centennial 1970 commemorative freestanding porcelain plaque, Polonnoe Artistic Ceramics Factory.

5" x 3 1/8" x 1 5/8" (13 x 8 x 4.5cm), typically dynamic (almost "aerodynamic"!) portrait of the "determined" Lenin with his centennial dates below in gold. We have seen an identical porcelain souvenir marked with a clear Polonnoe TM. Excellent condition.

The artist's likeness of Lenin proved highly popular and can sometimes be seen being carried at rallies by True Believers even today.
