Brass, enamels; 49.7 x 23.0 mm. Very complex, riveted 4-piece construction: the school building, plaque with the name of the school and the Soviet state emblem are separate, superimposed parts.

In outstanding, excellent condition. The enamel is perfect (small uneven areas on the white border are manufacturing imperfections, not a result of wear). The screw plate maker marked "USSR Arts Fund" is of the period although not necessarily original to the badge.
