Postcard Day One of the Soviet Power, 1960.

The size is continental standard 6" x 4", postally unused and unmarked, published by the Soviet Artist Publishing House, circulation 20,000, very small by Soviet standards. The artwork is an offset print of a 1960 oil-on-canvas painting by N. Babasyuk, that premiered the same year at the Soviet Russia art exhibition. The artist's name is printed in the lower left-hand corner on the verso. His hand signature and year are seen in the lower right-hand corner of the artwork. The painting is nothing but sycophantic communist propaganda, unencumbered by the reality of the October 1917

In excellent condition, just minuscule corner bumps. The verso is lightly and evenly age-toned and has a couple of barely noticeable faint stains.
