The raised details are nicely preserved and crisp. There is an attractive even patina to the brass throughout, while traces of the original "gilt" mint luster are visible in recessed areas on the obverse. There are some very light blemishes, mostly on the reverse, that do not detract and actually add character.
Comes on an original suspension device, a late 1940s model in brass. The old ribbon is perfectly preserved and sound. The connecting link appears to be of the period. Overall, a very attractive example of the Variation 2 Warsaw medal.
