Order of the Badge of Honor, Type 4 Variation 1, #187377, with award document, awarded on 10 November 1953 to Yekaterina Benko (Екатерина Антоновна Бенько).

The medallion is in silver gilt, enamels; measures 50.2 mm in height incl. eyelet, 33.2 mm in width; weighs 31,9 g not including the suspension and connecting link. Sub-variation featuring worker's coveralls without a belt and the serial number without the underline. This is a fairly scarce version of the order, with fewer than 25000 specimens produced.

In outstanding, excellent condition. There are no chips, repairs, or any wear to enamel visible to the naked eye, and only a few microscopic contact marks that can be found with a 10x loupe. The enamel shows a beautiful lust

In outstanding, excellent condition. There are no chips, repairs, or any wear to enamel visible to the naked eye, and only a few microscopic contact marks that can be found with a 10x loupe. The enamel shows a beautiful luster. The gilt finish on the lettering is well-preserved and bright. The silver exhibits a nice even toning throughout. There are only some minuscule contact marks to the figures of the workers and letters "CCCP", all of them nearly unnoticeable.

Order Booklet, Series G #560006 , was filled out on 4 January 1954, apparently at the point when the decoration was physically issued to its recipient. It shows only a entry, the Order of the Badge of Honor bestowed on 19 November 1953, thus making it a "complete group".

The document is in near mint condition. The cover shows practically no wear, the binding is tight, and the gold national emblem and text on the cover are perfect and bright. The interior pages are crisp and clean, showing only the mild age toning and small rust stains from the staples, as typical of the Soviet documents of its era.

Overall, a beautiful documented award from the turbulent "Death of Stalin" period of Soviet history.
