The medallion is brass; measures 37.3 mm in height including the eyelet, 32.1 mm wide. Features bas-relief portraits of Stalin and Lenin on the obverse.

In outstanding, excellent condition. The medallion is free of noticeable wear; the raised details of the portraits and lettering are perfect and crisp. The "gilt" finish (mint luster) is beautifully preserved and bright throughout, free of significant tarnish. The medal comes on an original brass suspension with a beautifully preserved old ribbon. Overall, a truly superb example - literally impossible to upgrade.
