Brass, enamels; 49.4 x 26.9 mm. The state emblem at the top is a separate, superimposed piece. The inscription at the bottom is ЛМУ ВМФ (Russian acronym for Lomonosovskoe Morekhodnoe Uchilishche - i.e. Lomonosov Naval School of Maritime Navigation). Features a Soviet Naval ensign under the state emblem, an indication that this is a naval rather than merchant fleet school. This variation of the LMU VMF badge features white rather than blue background.
