Medal for Victory over Japan, Variation 3 ("Voenkomat" version), circa 1970s-80s.
In brass; measures 36.9 mm in height incl. eyelet, 32.0 mm wide; weighs 16.3 g not including the suspension and connecting link.
In excellent, near mint condition. The medallion is practically pristine, having only a couple of microscopic contact marks that are invisible to the naked eye and not easy to find even under a 10x magnification. The raised details are perfect and exceptionally crisp on both sides. The "gilt" mint luster is pristine and exceptionally bright throughout, free of tarnish aside from a couple of tiny and faint, nearly unnoticeable spots on the reverse.

appears to be original; its ends are still joined with solder. Overall, this is a superb example, practically impossible to upgrade.
