Medal for the Liberation of Prague, Variation 2, 1940s-50s.

In brass; measures 37.1 mm in height incl. eyelet, 32.2 mm in width; weighs 17.5 g not including the suspension and connecting link. Features a U-shaped eyelet.

Excellent condition. The medal is free of wear visible to the naked eye beside a couple of minuscule contact marks to the reverse, almost unnoticeable without magnification. The raised details are perfect and exceptionally crisp. The original "gilt" mint luster is clearly visible in recessed areas throughout; there is only a minor amount of tarnish on the obverse, no significant blemishes or oxidation spots. Comes
