Sergo Ordzhonikidze was a professional revolutionary, an Old Guard Bolshevik, one of the leaders of the Communist Party and Soviet government, member of the Politburo of the TseKa VKP(b), and People's Commissar of Heavy Industry from 1932 to 1937. This brochure is a transcription of his motivational speech addressed to the apparatus of the Commissariat of Heavy Industry, whipping them to reach higher and accomplish more. Two years later, at the height of Stalin's Great Purge, he committed suicide. Since Old Guard Bolsheviks do not end their own life, the official version of the cause of death was heart attack.

In very good to excellent condition: minor creases and stains to the cover, a bit of a warp to the top right-hand corner due to exposure to water. The binding staple is a bit rusted but is still tight and strong. Judging by the sections of the text underlined in green pencil, the speech has been studied. The wear is not too intrusive to the eye.
