In very fine to excellent condition. The enamel is overall nicely preserved and shows a beautiful luster. There are a couple of tiny surface flakes at the top edge of the banner, nearly unnoticeable to the naked eye, and a few microscopic contact marks that are completely invisible without magnification. The details of the wreath, plow and flagpole are perfect; the original fire gilt is present throughout, although partly obscured by the attractive silver patina. Comes with an early post-war suspension, a two-layer model in steel with an integral catch of the pin. The old, probably original ribbon has water stains but is otherwise intact (we believe it adds character to the award, but in case the new owner prefers a brand-new ribbon, we will add a sufficient length of it on the side at no extra charge.) The connecting link appears to be original; its ends are still joined with solder.

Overall, a very attractive, near perfect 1940s award with a good research potential (we have not yet attempted to find out the name of the recipient through the Russian archives.)
