The front cover features the full name of the division including all the honorifics it had been awarded with by the end of WW2: 1st Guards Moscow-Minsk Order of Lenin, Order of the Red Banner, Order of Kutuzov Rifle Division. Inside, the left page bears the name of the invitee, Gutin, and the invitation issued by the divisional command for the celebratory events scheduled for 23 December 1945. The right-side page lists the events: parade, meeting of the veterans, and a gala concert.

In good to very good condition. Moderate wear is evident, however most of it is contained to the edges, leaving the textual parts mostly clear and perfectly legible.
The division was first formed in Moscow in December 1926 as the 1st Moscow Proletarian Rifle Division. During the Patriotic War it fought in the Battle of Moscow, the Rzhev-Sychevka Operation, then fought in Belorussia and finally took part in the East Prussian offensive. By the end of the Patriotic War, the division had earned the Order of Lenin, Order of the Red Banner, Order of Suvorov 2nd cl., and the Order of Kutuzov 2nd cl. Over 19 thousand of its soldiers and officers were decorated, 15 of them received the Gold Star of the Hero of the Soviet Union.
