Single page 9 ½" x 13 ¾", front and back. Printed at the N. Klobukov's Printing Factory in St. Petersburg. The leaflet is not dated, but the "Спб" (Spb, abbreviated "St. Petersburg") in the printing factory address suggests that it was published before August 1914 when St. Petersburg was renamed "Petrograd". We did not find direct information about the starting year of Klobukov's Printing Factory, but various Russian archival sites show the earliest printed material by Klobukov dated 1901, hence our dating this article. The article, translated from English, presents a superficially logical idealized utopian view on socialism which is coercively attractive but completely disregards human nature, this disregard making it a non-viable socio-economic order in the long run.
In very good condition. There is some wear to the edges and short separations on both sides of the horizontal fold in the center, very old and long-since-flattened out. Both can be easily repaired and reinforced by acid-free tape on the margins, if desired. The paper is mildly and attractively age-toned; the text is bright and crisp.
