Brass, enamels; medallion measures 41.5 mm wide. This version of the badge is slightly smaller than the Moscow Mint issue; its reverse has less pronounced counter-relief and grainier surface than the Moscow issue. The reverse of the medallion shows a raised mint mark of the Leningrad Mint.

Excellent condition. The enamel is perfect. The gilt finish is bright on both sides, completely free of tarnish. Comes with the original screw plate showing the Leningrad Mint logo. The ribbon is old but nicely preserved and clean.
