In very good to excellent condition. The leather of the cover shows minor wear to the edges and at the head and foot of the spine, not very obvious or detractive. The embossed emblem and lettering have lost their color but are deeply embossed and easily readable. The ID photo shows a few scuffs to the emulsion - nothing major if you look closely to see that what looks like a scuff on the deputy's chin is actually a goatee. The seal and the printed text and signatures are clear; the handwritten entry, made in blue ink, is somewhat faded but still legible.
