Note. It begs to be mentioned that the term "Bolshevik", stemming from the Russian word "Bolshoi" (big) was applied to Lenin's faction of RSDRP as a derogatory term, used in jest because the split-off faction was only about one tenth of the entire party, if that. However, it did not take Lenin, a creature devoid of any scruples, a lot of time to turn that jest around and proclaim his faction as proud big Bolsheviks as opposed to the "small" rest of the party, the Mensheviks (stemming from the Russian "menshe" (less than, smaller).

ID of a Member of the Central Council of Trade Unions of the city of Poltava, 16 February 1919. Measures 5 ½" x 3 ½", front only. The ID states that F. Dun is a member of the Central Council of Poltava trade unions, representing the Trade and Food Supplies workers' trade union.

In good condition, showing wear and discoloration to the left edge. The handwritten entries, made in lead pencil, are rather faded but still legible, and so is the seal of the Poltava Central Trade Unions Committee.

ID of a Member of the Executive Committee of the Central Council of Trade Unions of the city of Poltava, 1 November 1919. Measures approx. 5" x 4", front only. The ID states that F. Dun is indeed a member of the Executive Committee of the Central Council of Trade Unions of the city of Poltava. The ID bears the seal of the Poltava Central Trade Unions Committee, and the hand signatures of its chairman and secretary.

In very good condition, showing some wrinkles and fraying along the edges including four tiny tears to the left side of the top edge. The printed and handwritten text, seal and signatures are clear and perfectly legible.

ID of a member of the Poltava Workers' Club, issued 19 November 1919. Single sheet folded into a booklet, measures 3 1/21" x 4" when folded. The front page lists Dun's full name, his membership in the Trade and Food Supplies trade union, which probably provided the privilege of the club membership, and the date of joining the club. The internal pages are lined for recording membership dues paid. The document comes with what looks like a tear-off dues stamp with the word ОБРАТНО ("obratno" which means "return") and the amount of 60 rubles penciled in together with the date 23 July 1937.

In very good condition, showing mild wear, mostly to the edges, and very light soiling. The printed text is perfectly crisp, clear and legible; the handwritten entries were made in very diluted ink and look more faded than they actually are, and are quite legible as well.

Mandate ID of a Member of the Council of Workers' and Red Army Soldiers' Deputies of the city of Poltava, 1st convocation, representing the trade union of the Labor Bank, issued 1 April 1920. Single sheet measuring 5 ¼" x 4", front and back. The printed text is in Ukrainian. The verso shows a handwritten inscription, in Russian, reading "Registered with the Management Department of the Poltava Regional Executive Committee, # 32, 2 August 1920." The registration entry is sealed with the seal of the Poltava Regional Executive Committee.

In very good condition, showing mild wear along the edges and vertical fold lines that have flattened out completely with time. The printed and handwritten text, seal and signatures, are clear and legible.
