In very good to excellent condition. The booklet has been bent in storage, but the creasing and warping is insignificant and only adds to the air of age and authenticity. The back cover has a dark stain, appears to be black ink. All the graphics and seal, printed and handwritten text and signature are crisp, clear, and perfectly legible.

Victory over Germany certificates with red cover were issued primarily to VIPs, staff officers of the Moscow Military District, and, reportedly, to participants of the Victory Parade. There is a record that two regiments of the 1st Separate NKVD Rifle Division participated in the parade, and threw flags of the defeated Nazi Germany to the ground in front of Lenin's Mausoleum.
