Document for the KGB 50th Anniversary Badge, issued 3 December 1968 to Nikolai Lyashchenko (Николай Кондратьевич Лященко).
Leatherette-wrapped hardcover blue booklet measuring 3" x 3 ½" with impressed gold lettering on the cover. The internal pages show a watermark-like image of the 50th Anniversary to VChK-KGB badgе and an autopen signature of KGB Chairman Yuriy Andropov, who later succeeded Brezhnev as Soviet premier.
The document is in excellent condition. The gold lettering on the cover has lost some of its luster, otherwise intact. The interior is perfect and immaculately clean.
Please note that the penny in our photo is for size reference.
