In fair to good overall condition. The canvas is sound and free of tears or significant scuffs. There is a very minor amount of soiling to the exterior. A part of the shoulder strap is missing, while the remaining 7.5" part with the buckle is curled and now looks like a cord; it would probably flatten out again if very carefully ironed. The simple steel buckle is rusted but still functional.
This ammo pouch was probably produced in the Soviet-controlled part of Georgia in the early 1920s and is likely a survivor of the Russian
Civil War. A remarkable and scarce piece!
