In excellent condition. Both sides are extremely well-preserved, completely free of any wear visible to the naked eye and have only a few microscopic contact marks that can be found only under a 10x magnification. The details of Stalin's bas-relief and lettering are perfect and exceptionally crisp. There is a light tarnish to the raised portions of the bas-relief, at the lettering and on the reverse that adds interest

There is a light tarnish to the raised portions of the bas-relief, at the lettering and on the reverse that adds interest and is not detractive, while the original "gilt" mint luster is present and very bright throughout in recessed areas.
Comes on original suspension device, a single-layer model in brass. The ribbon is new. To summarize, a very attractive example of the Victory
over Japan Medal.
