In brass; 32.1 mm wide. This sub-variation of the Variation 2 features a rounded eyelet with flat edges rather than a somewhat more common U-shaped eyelet.
In excellent, near mint condition. The medallion is pristine, without any visible wear or even the microscopic contact marks that could be found with a 10x loupe. The original "gilt" mint luster is exceptionally bright throughout and completely free of tarnish. Comes on an original brass suspension with a perfectly preserved old ribbon. The connecting link appears to be of the period.
