Measures 6 ¼" tall to the highest point, the plinth is 7" long. The sculptor depicted the skater navigating the track's curve at high speed. The bottom of the plinth shows "1 МЕСТО" (1st place) scratched into the metal. So, this figure may have been the trophy for winning a speed skating competition. Note that in order to leave no doubt that this is a Soviet athlete, the sculptor put the USSR State Emblem on the skater's chest.
In excellent, outstanding condition. There is no wear of any kind visible to the naked eye.
