Brass, enamels; 47.8 x 26.9 mm. Two-piece construction: the Soviet state emblem is a separate superimposed part. Features dark blue center with abbreviated name of the school "ЛИАП' ("LIAP") and a silhouette of a jet airplane. The enamel is of very high quality typical of badges produced by the factory in Tallinn, Soviet Estonia.

Excellent condition. The screw post is full length, over 7 mm, and includes an original screw plate.
