Lady's Glass Box for Cosmetics or Jewelry, bronze, etched glass, circa 1940s-50s.
Stands 3" tall, triangular, 5" to the side. Bronze frame with thick (5 mm) etched glass side panels and lid. Stands on decorative bronze legs. The bottom is in padded burgundy velvet. The etching is deep and tastefully sparce, allowing most of each glass surface to be see-through. The etching on the lid also creates a nice artistic light and shadow play on the velvet bottom, as it will on the objects put inside.
In very good to excellent condition. The glass of one of the side panels has a small flaked area on the inside surface, close to the bronze frame and not too obvious. The

The frame is intact throughout and holds the glass panes securely. The hinge is tight and in perfect working condition. The clasp on the lid is also in perfect working order.
