According to Mondvor.narod.ru the serial number range for this sub-variation is 927525 - 929162. This is a very scarce version: its actual number of issues is smaller than the serial number range would suggest because the range is shared with another sub-variation of the "Ring Reverse". Produced in 1959 by the Moscow Mint, the order was most likely issued on the basis of a hitherto forgotten WW2 era award decree.

In outstanding, excellent condition. The enamel is essentially perfect, having only some microscopic contact marks that are completely invisible to the naked eye. Very attractive even toning to silver on both sides. The screw post is of full length, nearly 14 mm, and comes with an original period screw plate.
