The photo presents a Red Army colonel in the "victory parade" dress uniform wearing thirteen decorations: two Orders of the Red Star, Order of the Patriotic War, Order of Alexander Nevsky, two Orders of the Red Banner, Order of the Badge of Honor, and six medals.

The handwritten archival entry on the verso identifies the officer as Pyotr Kamyshnikov (Петр Иванович Камышников), and bears the seal of the Personnel Department of the Turkestan Military District, and the hand signature of its chief.

In very good condition, showing an ink mark next to the colonel's left shoulder and two tiny ones at the lower left-hand corner of the image. The wear misses all the important parts of the photo and is not too detractive. The paper is free of creases or wrinkles, the image is in sharp focus providing an excellent opportunity to identify the decorations and view the details of the not-so-commonly encountered "victory parade" uniform.

Please note that the penny in our photo is for size reference.
