The entry is dated 20 November 1946. The ink is not very bright, written on the nonabsorbent back side of photo paper, but the handwriting is very neat, and the text is perfectly legible.

The photo is in very good to excellent condition. Both sides are very clean and free of stains. There is a horizontal crease in the middle of the photo, not too noticeable when looking at the photo at a normal viewing angle.
