This particular specimen is extremely unusual and interesting: it is almost completely missing the second word "Monetnyi" in the mint mark: only a slight trace of it is visible under magnification - a result of an oversight that occurred during the manufacturing process - while the first word "Monetnyi" is stamped very clearly and boldly. Errors such as this one typically did not pass the usually vigilant quality control at the mint and therefore any specimens with a mint error are quite rare.

Excellent condition. The enamel is extremely well preserved, showing a beautiful luster; there is just a single minuscule flake at the top edge of the banner which is nearly unnoticeable to the naked eye and a couple of microscopic contact marks elsewhere that are completely invisible without magnification. The wreath and hammer & sickle emblem are essentially pristine, and the original gilt finish is clearly visible throughout. Nice even toning to silver on the reverse.

The order comes on original steel suspension device with faded but otherwise nicely preserved and attractive old ribbon. The connecting link appears to be original and its ends are still joined with solder.
