Badge of a Participant of the Special Event in Kremlin in Honor of the 70th Anniversary of the October Revolution, 1987.
Gilded brass, enamels; measures 24.6 mm in height (incl. flagpole finial), 30.9 mm in width; weighs 11.5 g. Excellent quality throughout. Design is similar to that of the CPSU Congresses member badges featuring a red banner with superimposed Lenin's bust. The bust and the plaque at the bottom with inscription "70th Anniversary of the Great October" are separate superimposed parts attached by rivets. The reverse has a late style circular logo of the Moscow Mint.
In excellent condition. The enamel is perfect; the gilt finish is bright.
