The size is continental standard 6" x 4". Written on a special-issue military postcard stationary featuring inspirational graphics and verses on the left side of the obverse. The right side is marked ВОИНСКОЕ (military) on top indicating that it was to be mailed postage-free, right under the slogan "Death to the German invaders!"

Uncommonly, the postcard is addressed in Georgian but, judging by the Georgian cancellation stamp, somehow reached its destination, Tbilisi, Georgian SSR. Not an easy feat considering that in May 1943 the 1367 Rifle Regiment of the 414th Anapa Rifle Division (that's the unit corresponding to Field Post 11321-T in the sender's address) was engaged in heavy fighting on the Kerch and Crimean peninsulas.

The left ,decorative side of the obverse shows inspirational graphics symbolizing the victorious march of the Soviet Armed Forces, but also paying tribute to the official USSR political holiday, 1 May, the International Day of Workers' Solidarity. The lettering under the graphic is a slogan reading "Under the banner of Lenin, under the leadership of Stalin, - forward, toward the defeat of the German invaders and their banishment from the soil of our Motherland!" The verso contains the soldier's message, written in Georgian script, in green ink, and dated 26 May 1943.

The postcard is in very good condition, showing mild to moderate wear to the paper and corners. The fold line in the center, although long-since-flattened-out, is still visible. The verso shows two circular stains, most likely left by a cup or glass. None of the wear is very detractive. If anything, it underscores the air of authenticity and age of the postcard.
