The pre-printed postal mark features the image of a young woman and the 1942 price of 20 kopeks. The USSR state emblem is opposite the mark, in the upper left-hand corner. Also uncommonly, some of the printed text is duplicated in French, an old custom from the times when French was the official language of postal communications and international identification documents, but rather unexpected on a wartime postcard printed on poor-quality pulpy paper. Yet another uncommon feature is the infomercial between the lines separating the address space from the return address space at the bottom. It reads "Money can be sent via mail, telegraph and photo telegraph".

The obverse shows two postal cancellation stamps, and the stamp of a military censor. The verso contains the message written in the Georgian language, in lead pencil, and dated 1 October 1942.

In very good to excellent condition. The paper is slightly wrinkled and shows small creases and corner bumps, not intrusive to the eye and not detractive.
