In good condition. The obverse shows two scratches, probably made by the tip of a ballpoint pen, a crease at the top left corner, and a triangle of equidistant contact points where something was pressed into the photo. A very faint shadow of a stain covers some of the left side of the officer's face. The entire verso is covered in doodles made in ballpoint pen. Despite the wear, the photo presents rather well overall, when seen at a normal viewing angle, and provides a nice opportunity to view the details of the uniform and decorations.
