Early WW1 Lithographic Poster Battle with the Germans on the Bzura River, 1915.
Measures 22" x 16", in vibrant color, printed by the Sytin Lithography Printing House, Moscow. The caption under the lithograph describes a combat scene on the river of Bzura, part of the Russian defense which stopped the German army's advance toward Warsaw and the Vistula River.
In good to very good condition. Several tears along the edges have been repaired with library tape on the verso, leaving only a small slightly frayed edge area near the top left-hand corner. It can be easily reinforced in the same manner, if desired.
