The pre-printed postal mark features the USSR State Emblem, perhaps the most widely used stamp at the time. The artwork features the Spasskaya Clock Tower of the Moscow Kremlin, with flags and flowers on the foreground suggestive of the 1 May demonstration in Red Square, and a flock of ghostly white doves of peace soaring. In excellent condition. Minimal shelf wear to the obverse, a small cluster of oily stains at the bottom right-hand corner on the verso, a small crease at the lower right-hand corner, and minuscule corner bumps constitute the entire list of wear, barely noticeable and not detractive.
