In brass and bright red, blue and dark blue enamel, mint marked, 2-piece construction. Excellent quality and design; shows Kremlin with superimposed fighters and rockets flying over it. Excellent condition.

The badge was issued from 1975 as award for excellent service to officers of Soviet Air Defense Forces, many of them fighter interceptor pilots.
