Soviet Army (Land Forces) Officer Pilotka Side Cap, circa late 1980s - 1991.
In olive drab wool gabardine with cotton liner and red piping. The sweat band is in ersatz leather. The liner has a sewn-in tag of the Kiev Headgear Factory, Ministry of Light (Consumer Goods) Industry of Ukrainian SSR. Stamped Size 55 on the liner (US size 6 7/8 / Small.) The hat badge is a subdued star, an original EM model from 1960s-80s (technically, incorrect for an officer's uniform of the late Cold War era but ideal for a WW2 Red Army officer impression.)
Excellent condition, apparently never issued or worn. Shows only storage age, no damage or wear of any kind. Please n
