The booklet is a tribute to the life and creativity of one of the most renowned Soviet sculptors, Vera Mukhina (Вера Игнатьевна Мухина, 1889-1953), a rather detailed biographical essay illustrated with b/w photos of some of her most famous sculptures. The front cover features the most famous of them, the huge 25-meter (82 ft.) tall stainless-steel sculpture The Worker and the Collective Farmer, gracing the entrance to the VDNKh exhibition fairgrounds in Moscow. The essay is preceded by a full-page b/w photo of the sculptor.

In very good condition. The cover shows minor edge and corner bumps and old, long-since flattened out in storage creases. The spine is a little scuffed but is tight on the binding staples. The internal pages are in excellent condition, featuring an occasional fingerprint but no significant soiling, stains or any other damage or wear.
