The artwork is a typical example of early- and mid-Soviet era moralistic visual art, mocking the overbearing attitude of the girl's parents and grandfather, doing everything for her while she is standing there, smothered by them and only wishing to be out with her friends. The friends are taking this scene with a good deal of ironic sympathy, snickering in the doorway.

In very good to excellent condition. The artwork is pristine. There are minuscule corner and edge bumps, barely visible and not detractive. The verso shows only minimal storage wear and mild age toning to the paper.
