In very fine to excellent condition. The raised details are exceptionally well-preserved and crisp on both sides. The raised edge is completely free of knocks or bumps. On the reverse, there is a minimal amount of pitting and some small scuffs, none of them really very noticeable or detractive.

The medal comes on original period 28 mm wide St. George / St. Alexander Nevsky ribbon mounted on a Soviet WW2-era suspension device in steel (the pin on the suspension has been replaced with an old safety pin as is often the case, but it is fully functional.) The connecting link is also a Soviet era replacement. The ribbon is perfectly preserved and immaculately clean.
