The book traces and illustrates the history and evolution of two "porcelain empires" - the Kuznetsovs and Konakovo - from their beginning in Imperial Russia through the Soviet era.

In excellent condition. The hardcover shows only minimal traces of shelf wear, the binding is intact and quite tight, the internal pages are simply pristine.

Overall, this is an invaluable reference resource for a serious porcelain, faience and majolica collector. But it is also a magnificent and visual source of information for anyone interested in the history and evolution of this genre of Russian art.
